 Warum sollte jemand eigene Kaffeepads herstellen wollen? Ich sehe mehrere Möglichkeiten:
- Die brandneue Maschine ist da, die alte kommt weg. Der noch verbliebene lose Kaffee ist zu schade zum Wegwerfen.
- Trotz Verwendung nur eines Pads und Durchlauf der Wassermenge für zwei Tassen ist der Kaffee immer noch zu stark (für Schwächlinge wie mich :) ).
- Alle als Pad erhältlichen Kaffeesorten können geschmacklich nicht mit dem eigenen Lieblingskaffee konkurrieren.
- Sie bevorzugen fair gehandelten Kaffee, haben aber bisher noch keinen in Pad-Form gefunden oder die Auswahl reicht Ihnen nicht aus.
- Die Fabrik-Kaffeepads gehen langsam aber sicher ins Geld.
Selbstgefüllte Kaffeepads sind wie selbstgedrehte Zigarretten: Eigene Dosierung, individueller Geschmack, kontrollierte Herkunft, geringere Kosten.
Why should someone want to produce home-made coffee-pads? I clearly see various possibilities:
- The brand-new coffee machine is there, the old one will be dumped. But you are not willing to throw away the remaining drip grind coffee as well.
- Despite using just one pad for the double amount of water the coffee is still too potent (for weaklings like myself :) ).
- All available pad flavours can’t compete with your favorite coffee brand.
- You prefer coffee that has been traded fairly, but you weren’t able to find such coffee in pads or the variety of those coffees is too small.
- Over time the factory-made coffee pads really become a nag in your purse.
Filling your own coffee pads is like creating your own cigarrettes: Personal dose, individual taste, controlled origin, lower costs.
