Um aus dem flachgedrückten Achteck ein gleichseitiges Achteck zu bekommen, muss es an den kurzen Seiten noch leicht eingefaltet werden. Dazu sind gut die Falzkanten des ursprünglichen Beutels geeignet, die wie Flügelchen nach außen stehen. Nachdem die beiden “Flügel” eingefaltet sind, ergibt sich die Form eines regelmäßigen Achtecks, wie im linken Bild zu sehen. Anschließend öffnen sie die Faltungen wieder und lassen nur die allerersten beiden Ecken am geschlossenen unteren Ende des Beutels eingefaltet. Im rechten Bild erkennen Sie gut die Faltlinien.
Wenn Sie bis hierher alles richtig gemacht haben, ist der Beutel nach oben offen und kann nun mit Kaffeepulver befüllt werden.
To transform the flattened octagon into a regular one it has to be slightly folded in at the shorter sides. Very suitable for this task is the beading of the original bag that stands out to both sides like small wings. After folding in the two “wings” you receive the shape of a regular octagon as shown in the left image. Afterwards open the folds and keep just the two very first corners at the lower, closed end of the bag folded in. In the right image you can clearly see the folding lines.
If you’ve done right up to this point, the bag is open to the upper side and can be filled right now with drip grind coffee.
